Tonight is the big get together at my brother's.
somewhere around 50 people are expected. It should be a blast.

be ages from 1-at least 74 there..

IT's been fun seeing my nieces and the grandnieces.

Went pretty good. We were a bit late getting there because mom refused to believe me about what time to go up so they had to call...


but knew quite a few of the people there so wasn't too bad.

Cousin kathy wasn't feeling up to going so she missed most of it.
She has M.S and heat really bothers her and it was quite hot..

but family pictures should be interesting..

food was good.

Tomorrow is 1st of August already. Where did summer go?

today my sister,2 of her daughters, 2 granddaughters ( can my sister really be old enough to be a grandma?) and a cousin came.
Only my cousin is staying at the house.. the rest of them at motel..

Those babies 1 and 3 are so cute.

Was sitting outsided on the yard swing minding my own business when a mean old bee decided to sting me on my right knee

luckily I am not allergic although a couple of my brothers are but still itches.


got the yard ready for company.. just need to have it mowed on Thursday and finish the last bits of house stuff.

Webby says its legal reasons and I know it is that and because several folks on there always cause trouble.

and why can't home owners step outside for 10 minutes to pick up garbage in their streets?

made some Zuchinni bread today in preperation for next weeks family get-together.

Just finished the 6th Harry Potter book.. yes I am an adult who likes Harry Potter.

It was good but hated when she killed off a good guy. Wish a bad guy would get it for a change.

I rode my bike to the library and yard sales and saw so much litter around

What is it about plastic water jugs and beer cans that people can't carry them to their destinations? And cigarette packages. and now firework remains.


get off your lazy butts people and sweep up your front street. Won't take you 10 minutes and make your house look so much better.

And litterbugs..stop it.. carry your garbage home with you.

but all beautiful and smart and nice girls..

Today was my birthday and never you mind which one. lol

had a nice time.. went shopping with mom and got some new sneakers which I needed.

then a beautiful bouquet of flowers from my twin brother and money from another brother and a dear friend and a starter scrapebook kit from my sister. So all in all okay day.

Hmmm
Strained my back pulling weeks and leaves from the yucca bush but with ice and pain relievers feeling better already.


I never did say that I got my package from my yif win...
I got a bunch of bath stuff like bubbles, gel a bath pillow and a scrubber and a long back scrubber in a wire basket. So really nice stuff. Thanks Doeba

Went to Big Lots and Factory Liquidators with Judie and Mary today.
bought a few things not anything fancy.

I Went down to the beach with my sister in law, my niece and 2 other little girls.
They ran into the water like it was bath water. I put my toes in and almost froze!
But after a few minutes got used to it.

still was cold but not bad once you got used to it.

lots of people down there but not a heck of a lot of folks swimming.. only kids and me mainly. I am the girls favorite beach toy. lol

Okay so I mutter..lol
I don't like getting into arguments with people so it's easier to vent my frustations under my breath.


Anyhow.. Little Bit is fine. We got the urine sample and took it in and vet called and said everything looked clean. So now we take him in for dental work..ouch



the 4th was okay. I went down to the parade and watch some of it. Not all but most.
then worked in the yard most of the afternoon and watched some neighborhood fireworks.
Ended up back in bed the next afternoon with a headache though from lack of sleep due to fireworks late at night.


I've got tomatoes forming on the front patch and the 2nd plant is flowering so will hopefully get some there.
The peppers are hopeless.. nothing will happen with them they are still only 3 inches tall ..
greenbeans and peas are starting to grow so will loop them on the fence as soon as they get big enough. My plants if you hadn't guessed are in very weird spots.
one tomato is in the front flower garden. the 2nd tomato is up next to the front of the house, 2 tiny peppers which I might move to the front garden are next to the kitchen area and 1 pepper is next to the front door and the 4th pepper is around the corner of the front of the house and the peas and beans are along the fence between us and the neighbors so no real vegatable garden just spots. lol

first of all you must understand that this dog is a small pomeranian and his penis is only about 1 inch long and about 2 inches off the ground.
So after trying to chase him with a pan plate and lots of hard thought Mom came up with the idea of using a medicine container and a shoelace.
She poked holes in the medicine container then tied a shoelace thru the top then the shoelace around the dog and we put the container under him right over his penis.
after several tries it finally worked. yeah
