Thoughts and nonsense

15 Trick or treaters.. and it was cold and pouring rain so did good to get that many.

My sister is up and we're having a good visit.

dang this this isn't letting me upload pics again.

Busy day getting thehouse ready for my sisters visit.

Vacuumed, dust, mop, laundry, rake leaves, mom did baking and making salads.

brought in some tomato plants and green pepper plants from the greenhouse and put them in my bedroom. I'm the only person I know who has a vegetable garden in her bedroom.

Most of the leaves are gone from the tree's now. It's going into our homely time of year up here until it snows.

Yes another fun day of raking and blowing leaves.

getting the house ready for a visit from my sister.. you know the usual dusting vacuuming etc.
I'm even going to clean the oven lol

Can you find my dog in this pile of leaves? He is in there.
this fence is a 7 ft fence so gives you an idea how deep the leaves are.
and I counted about 60 steps from the gate to the driveway

Been raking a few leaves up. They are beautiful and provide such nice shade in the summer but when they fall, they fall!!!



Didn't get a chance to walk today too busy raking.
But did 3/4 of a mile yesterday.








Forgot to tell you about my great buy of the week.
Went to a local consignment clothing store and found a brandnew looking Jean jacket that fits perfectly for only 8.00.

Always wanted one but never found one so inexpensive or in great shape.
Only thing I can't figure out is why there is a pocket on the back.

Fall is really beautiful right now.. the leaves are so brightly colored it almost hurts the eyes to see them.
I think I just heard my theme song. IT's mr. Cellophane from Chicago. That discribes me to a tee.

Watching the movie Chicago right now.. It's not to bad at all.
I like a few of the new shows this year.
My favorite is Commander in Chief. I also like The Ghost Whisperer and of the old shows Lost, E.r, The Gilmore girls, The biggest loser, and 7th heaven and The West wing and Extreme homemakeovers. Plus I also enjoy Supernanny and nanny911. Still haven't made up my mind on Medium.. Something about her drives me nuts.

Fall has really hit here

nothing exciting to report as usual
this is really the most boring blog in town.

I have been having real problems sleeping at night.
Maybe the job I should look for is a night job.

been doing quite a bit of walking but weather is iffy and I've been doing a lot of raking of leaves. AS a matter of fact I have 2 blisters on my right hand to prove it.

Can't believe that so much time has gone by since I got on.

Not much happening.. We had a big block in the sink and had to have a lot of pipe work done but now the kitchen sink runs clear.
Leaves are starting to fall. Weather has been cold and rainy.
